Desert Arabesques: First Mythology and Ornament Skins for The Armory Pass in CS2

In one of the recent December 2025 updates, VALVE introduced new conditions for skin creators from the Steam Workshop in Counter-Strike 2: fixed payments for items, skins, stickers, and charms based on specific themes. If a creator agrees to these terms, their works have a chance to be included in future The Armory Pass collections. The developers are repeating the successful Dreams & Nightmares Case experiment with themed sets, and today we present the first examples of one of the assigned themes: the exquisite art of arabesques and myths of Arabic folklore. These skins transport us to the world of “One Thousand and One Nights,” where each design is like a chapter from an ancient legend.

AWP | The Scorpion

This rifle is a desert guardian, the embodiment of the scorpion from Arabic tales. In legends, this creature carries a dual nature: its venom kills, but its image protects. The AWP body is enveloped in exquisite arabesques—endless golden-bronze patterns of leaves, flowers, and geometric swirls, as if woven by the hands of a cult master. At the center—a majestic scorpion, decorated with gold leaf, its tail curved for the strike. The scope and barrel are also wrapped in delicate ornaments that shimmer in the light. This skin is more than a weapon. It’s a talisman, precise and merciless as the desert itself, and eternal as the stars above the dunes.

P250 | Arabian Nights

When night falls over the ancient cities of the East, this P250 seems to come alive, keeping the whispers of “One Thousand and One Nights” tales. Its gradient from deep blue to violet with pearl reminds one of the twilight sky, studded with stars. On the slide, like a shadow, is engraved the silhouette of an Arabic city with minarets and domes. The grip is decorated with delicate patterns repeating waves of sand and the silhouette of a graceful camel. A light pearlescent sheen adds magic: colors shimmer like the flame in Aladdin’s lamp. The main feature of the skin—stars “light up” (turn white) as soon as you enter dark areas of the map without lighting.

M4A4 | Sindbad

This weapon is like a scroll with stories about Sinbad the Sailor. Its body resembles white porcelain with streams of 24-karat gold flowing across it. Here entire chapters of legends are engraved: a giant fish-island, the Roc bird soaring above the waves, the diamond valley, and monsters lying in wait for the brave. Golden patterns flow like routes on an ancient map, framing scenes with palms, ships, and djinns. The magazine is decorated with a Roc feather, on the grip—a figure of Sinbad himself, and the barrel pays tribute to the waves of the stormy sea. To hold this M4A4 is to feel the weight of the greatest adventures. Each shot asks the same question as the wanderer: “What awaits beyond the next horizon?”

MAC-10 | Bedouin

This MAC-10 breathes the spirit of the Bedouins—nomads who follow the stars through sandstorms. Its body is executed in warm, sun-scorched shades of sand. White silhouettes on it look as if drawn by the wind: here’s a fierce camel with bared teeth, here’s a warrior in a cloak with a spear, and here are ornaments resembling tribal tattoos and caravan tracks. The drawing is deliberately rough, similar to ancient rock paintings near an oasis. This skin is about freedom and survival. It’s fast as a camel ride and untamed as a desert storm.

AK-47 | Fly High

This AK-47 is dedicated to Anqa—the legendary Arabic wonder-bird, the fiery phoenix of the East. They say Anqa appears once in an era to heal the world’s wounds and be reborn from flames. Its majestic silhouette with spread wings soars on the rifle body, outlined in gold and tinted with red feather accents. The background is black and white, decorated with the finest arabesques and golden swirls, like patterns on an expensive carpet. The magazine and stock are complemented with floral motifs. This mythical bird is also associated with the main pet in Counter-Strike—the beloved chickens—so it will fit perfectly into the game.

Glock-18 | Carved Arabesque

This Glock-18 is as if it was once an antique carpet from an Eastern bazaar and then took steel form. The blue base of its body is covered with deep relief of exquisite floral arabesques. Leaves, buds, and swirls intertwine in an endless, almost hypnotic dance, creating the illusion of soft fabric. The slide is silvery-white with fine engraving emphasizing luxury. The grip fits in the palm like silk. This is not just a pistol—it’s a work of art where ancient ornamental traditions meet modern precision. Each shot from it becomes an act of elegant beauty.

AWP | Tabib Al-Bahr

This rifle bears the name “Healer of the Seas”—a mythical creature from Arabic legends. Its body is enveloped in flowing arabesques inspired by ancient manuscripts and stone carvings. Golden swirls and geometric patterns flow across a turquoise-blue base, reminiscent of waves under sunset rays. The scope and barrel are decorated with fine gilding, and red accents shimmer on the body like hints of sea treasures. Every detail is perfectly adapted to the weapon’s form. The skin breathes premium quality: light plays on its surface like the sun on water.

Desert Eagle | Arabesque Imperial

Imperial luxury in its classic form. This Desert Eagle is decorated with arabesques where plant motifs have transformed into an abstract dance of lines. The turquoise base of the grip and slide beautifully contrasts with the silvery-white metal, across which black and golden ornaments flow. These are stylized leaves, shoots, and flowers, full of harmony. Each line of the pattern follows the weapon’s powerful contours, emphasizing its strength and grandeur. This skin is a direct embodiment of Eastern decor: elegant and commanding, like a palace in Baghdad. Its appearance recalls sultans, and the roar of the shot sounds like an emperor’s decree.

USP-S | 1000 and 1 Night

One Thousand and One Nights comes alive on this USP-S. Its purple-blue base is studded with gold and green arabesques, where stars hide among flowers and leaves—like pages of an ancient book of tales. The suppressor is decorated with symmetrical patterns resembling djinn lamps. The body shimmers with multi-layered ornaments transitioning from deep indigo to bright emerald. This is Scheherazade’s own weapon: quiet (thanks to the suppressor), mysterious, and full of magic. Each of its shots is like a new chapter in an endless story of love, betrayal, and wonders under the starry sky.

M4A4 | Celestial Nomad

Here the author presented an entire collection of items, calling it “Celestial Nomad.” The cream-blue body, reminiscent of the night sky, merges with golden arabesques. Here you can discern a full moon surrounded by ornaments and silhouettes of mythical creatures: lions, birds, and celestial guardians soaring in golden radiance. Every detail, from the magazine to the stock, tells of journeys along starry paths: clouds float and patterns flow like sand in an hourglass. This collection is like a poem about a nomad seeking their destiny under the moon. It’s calm, elegant, and full of hidden power.
