Orange and Black CS2 Loadout: Halloween’s Colors, Right on the Server

It’s Halloween. Last year we rounded up the best Halloween skins in CS2 – skulls, demons and every kind of creepy in between. This time we’re coming at it from a different angle: instead of building around a theme, we’re building around the holiday’s palette.
Orange is jack-o’-lanterns, fallen leaves and candlelight. Black is the night when trick-or-treaters roam the streets – and not only them. We put together a full loadout in those two colors, one that brings the spirit of October 31 into CS2 and keeps it there long after the holiday is over.

Halloween is the night when the hunter and the hunted can trade places in a heartbeat. Sport Gloves | Big Game look like they were pulled off a game warden who wandered too deep into the autumn woods and never made it back out.
The backs of the gloves are made of rough fabric covered in woodland camo in orange and brown, with gray and orange accents. The palms are black with orange padding. The camo looks like it was pieced together from fallen leaves, which makes it perfect cover for a late-night walk through an autumn park.

No vampire or werewolf costume is complete without fangs. Ours belongs to a tiger.
The blade and guard are coated in orange chrome paint with brown stripes mimicking a tiger’s coat. The handle is left unpainted, so all eyes go to the blade — golden and predatory, exactly what a fang should be. The stiletto’s long, slim profile sells the look even further, and the gold of the blade echoes the orange patches on the gloves.

Radioactive mutant is a costume that never misses at a Halloween party. Glock-18 | Reactor looks like it walked out of the same accident.
The slide is covered in a pattern of radiation hazard symbols in shades of yellow, orange and brown — not a single color out of place, right on the loadout’s palette. The radiation trefoil is one of the most recognizable warning signs out there, and at a party it reads every bit as clearly as a skull.

Halloween is a celebration of the dead, and our loadout has a ghost of its own. USP-S | Orion was pulled from the Huntsman Weapon Case over copyright issues and replaced with USP-S | Caiman, so what we see in matches is only its spirit: old copies and the ones still coming out of trade-up contracts.
The pistol is painted black, with an animal-print pattern of gray stripes across the slide. Bright orange accents run along the whole body, and the suppressor gets a dotted pattern and an orange stripe with “USP-S” lettering. It’s the cleanest orange-and-black combo in the entire loadout — no camo, no illustrations, no extra shades.

On Halloween, even Egyptian mummies climb out of their sarcophagi so no loadout is complete without an ancient curse.
The SMG is unevenly painted in dark gray and features an eye framed by ancient Egyptian ornaments. The gaze on the side panel follows anyone who ends up in your crosshair. Thin orange lines and dots across the body look like paintings from a tomb wall — the kind of tomb that should have stayed sealed. It’s also the most affordable skin here, under a dollar in any condition.

If you’re decorating your weapon for Halloween, skip the string lights and go with thorny rose stems — dark, gothic and beautiful all at once.
The SMG is coated in matte black paint and decorated with a rose wrapped in winding, thorny vines. The pattern’s palette features yellow and various shades of red, and random splatters of pink paint finish the design, as if someone caught their hand on the thorns.

Horror has lived on the pages of comic books for decades, and AWP | BOOM looks like it was cut straight out of one of those issues, where every shot gets its own sound effect in big bold letters.
The comic-style design paints the rifle orange and layers a halftone dot pattern on top. Over that sit BOOM!, BLAM!, POW! and CRACK!, each in a classic comic speech bubble. It’s the loudest piece in the loadout, both in color and in name.

- Well-Worn — $3.45

Safety netting, like the kind fenced around an abandoned lot you’d be smart to stay away from on Halloween night.
The rifle is painted in various shades of gray with an orange pattern imitating safety netting. The magazine and barrel are matte black. To get rid of the white areas that clash with the palette, we recommend going Battle-Scarred: the wear tones down the white and adds just the right amount of gloom. In this condition the paint is chipping off in places, and the AK looks like it has survived more than one Halloween night of its own.

The orange tones on M4A1-S | Atomic Alloy flicker like a candle inside a carved pumpkin.
The rifle is decorated with graphic elements in various shades of orange, and the center section adds a semi-transparent hexagonal mesh. The orange runs from copper to fiery, as if red-hot metal were glowing through the body. A clean but warm design for anyone who wants the holiday palette without the noise.
- Factory New — $550.00
- Minimal Wear — $177.90

Closing out the loadout is the one guest who shows up to Halloween without a costume. The devil himself.
The design is done in a street-art style. The receiver features a little red devil against white graffiti lettering. The handguard has a black-to-red gradient with the devil’s tail running across it. The stock is covered in skulls wreathed in orange flames, which spill onto the bottom of the magazine as well. The black grip carries an image of a steel chain. Hellfire is the natural finale: devils, skulls and fire, all packed into one skin. The red devil brings a third color into the mix, but the flames and the black body keep it firmly within the palette.
Happy Halloween and may the scariest thing in your next match be your inventory.
