Cheap Black CS2 Skins: Buying a Full Black Friday Inventory for $125

It’s November, and we all know what that means: Black Friday is coming. Checkout lines, slashed price tags, and piles of stuff nobody wanted until it went on sale.

If the Friday’s black, we figured, the inventory should be too. And with skin prices sliding lately, everything is already sort of “on sale.” So we set out to build the cheapest all-black inventory we could, knife and gloves included. The receipt is waiting at the end of the article. You don’t have to pay it, but it makes a solid shopping list.

Broken Fang Gloves | Unhinged
  • Factory New — $535.00
  • Minimal Wear — $98.26
  • Field-Tested — $60.20
  • Well-Worn — $59.09
  • Battle-Scarred — $59.25

Unhinged is a fair word for the price spread on these gloves: Factory New runs $535, while Field-Tested goes for $60.20. That’s nearly a ninefold gap.

These fingerless gloves are made of black and gray snakeskin with black leather panels, finished with metal studs and an Operation Broken Fang logo plate. Even Factory New copies show some scuffing, so there’s no reason to chase a clean wear here. Just grab Field-Tested and keep the $474.80 you’d save over Factory New.

Bowie Knife | Black Laminate
  • Factory New — $85.30
  • Minimal Wear — $69.17
  • Field-Tested — $59.43
  • Well-Worn — $59.00
  • Battle-Scarred — $57.34

Valve describes the Bowie Knife as built for brutal survival situations. That also happens to be a pretty good description of waiting in line for a discounted TV at 6 a.m.

The massive sawback blade is stonewashed, which leaves the steel a matte gray, and the handle is black laminate. Battle-Scarred is the cheapest option, but another $2.09 gets you Field-Tested.

Glock-18 | Red Tire
  • Factory New — $10.42
  • Minimal Wear — $2.30
  • Field-Tested — $1.84
  • Well-Worn — $2.35
  • Battle-Scarred — $2.62

Winter tire deals are as much a late-November staple as TVs, and Glock-18 | Red Tire checks that box for $1.84.

The pistol wears a black and red tire tread pattern. It’s an unconventional pick, but in our view it’s the blackest skin in the loadout: other black skins tend to drift into gray, while this one has a deep, rich background. The best value is Field-Tested again, which beats both Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred on price.

USP-S | Ticket to Hell
  • Factory New — $2.18
  • Minimal Wear — $1.09
  • Field-Tested — $0.64
  • Well-Worn — $0.65
  • Battle-Scarred — $0.60

The barcode’s already on it, so all that’s left is to ring it up. A ticket to hell for $0.60 is the best deal of the whole sale.

For a black inventory, there’s practically no alternative to this skin, and thankfully it’s still this cheap. The entire gun is solid black, covered in white lettering, pictograms, barcodes and QR codes. The slide reads Ticket to Hell, the suppressor reads Dead Silence, and a mouth full of sharp teeth grins above the grip.

MAC-10 | Video Cam
  • Factory New — $1.61
  • Minimal Wear — $0.23
  • Field-Tested — $0.07
  • Well-Worn — $0.05
  • Battle-Scarred — $0.05

Picking up discounted electronics is a sacred Black Friday ritual, so no MAC-10 fits better. A video camera for five cents is the steal of the whole set.

The body is styled after a handheld camcorder, with CAM lettering, an HDR marking, buttons and switches, plus red, white and yellow jacks on the side that anyone who’s ever hooked up a VCR will recognize. All it’s missing is a blinking REC light.

MP9 | Broken Record
  • Factory New — $0.89
  • Minimal Wear — $0.24
  • Field-Tested — $0.11
  • Well-Worn — $0.10
  • Battle-Scarred — $0.11

Black vinyl belongs on the shopping list too, and this discount is the real thing. When it launched in September 2025, Factory New went for nearly $16. Now it’s under a dollar. That’s 90% off, and no store is putting that on a Black Friday window sign.

The SMG is styled after a vinyl record: a black surface covered in grooves, with a round label on the side. Gold accents and fine print on the body complete the collector’s edition look.

AWP | Black Box
  • Factory New — $24.26
  • Minimal Wear — $10.00
  • Field-Tested — $5.21
  • Well-Worn — $4.19
  • Battle-Scarred — $3.45

Real black boxes are actually orange, because that makes them easier to find at a crash site. It’s the classic sale experience: the listing says one thing, and what’s in the box says another.

This sniper rifle, at least, lives up to its name. The AWP is coated in matte black paint, with a single orange stripe as its only accent. It’s the most expensive gun in the loadout, and it’ll still only set you back a couple of bucks.

AK-47 | Breakthrough
  • Factory New — $8.59
  • Minimal Wear — $5.48
  • Field-Tested — $2.68
  • Well-Worn — $2.79
  • Battle-Scarred — $2.07

OK, it’s not the most obvious pick. But it’s the cheapest and newest of the black AK-47s, and it definitely adds some variety to the lineup. Plus, Valve’s description credits it with “+5 Weapon Handling Speed,” and you can never have too much speed when you’re storming a sale.

An aggressive geometric pattern in shades of gray sits on top of a carbon fiber base. It’s the lightest gun in the loadout, but it breaks up the wall of black and makes things a little more fun.

M4A1-S | Nitro
  • Factory New — $10.87
  • Minimal Wear — $1.24
  • Field-Tested — $0.54
  • Well-Worn — $0.51
  • Battle-Scarred — $0.50

M4A1-S | Nitro hit the game on November 27, 2013. Exactly 13 years later, November 27, 2026 is Black Friday, so the skin gets to celebrate its birthday alongside the biggest sale of the year.

Some parts are painted black, others tangerine orange. The orange accents look like a price tag somebody forgot to cut off, but they’re exactly what keeps the loadout from blurring into one dark blob.

M4A4 | Dark Operative
  • Factory New — $7.25
  • Minimal Wear — $1.40
  • Field-Tested — $0.46
  • Well-Worn — $0.24
  • Battle-Scarred — $0.32

This one looks like it came straight out of a tactical gear catalog: the receiver reads The Tactical Comprehensive Body Kit, and the stock says Tactical SL-T. The full package, for 24 cents.

The rifle is painted matte black with silver details and white graphic elements. Its flavor text says “Function before style,” though in a strict all-black loadout, style comes first.

The Final Receipt

Taking the cheapest wear of every item, the set comes to $125.28. The knife and gloves eat up nearly all of that, while the other eight skins total just $8.85.

If worn-down black paint bothers you, the whole set in Field-Tested comes to $131.18. That’s only $5.90 more, and it definitely feels worth it.

Happy Black Friday, and don’t buy things you don’t need. Head over to SIHMarket instead and refresh your inventory before skin prices blast off again.
