Women’s Day Collection for CS2: 10 Steam Workshop Skins That VALVE Should Have Used to Celebrate Women

March 8th is International Women’s Day, and while CS2 doesn’t have many themed holiday collections, the Steam Workshop is full of works that would be perfect for such an occasion. Artists from around the world regularly create skins inspired by feminine imagery – from delicate and romantic to bold, mystical, and truly dangerous.
We decided to imagine what a Women’s Day Collection in CS2 might look like. If VALVE were to actually release a collection for March 8th, works like these could easily be part of it.
M4A1-S | Mystic
- by ✿ Sarzi ← full of love
This skin transports the weapon into the realm of Eastern legends and half-forgotten tales of witchcraft. The design is built around a deep lilac-purple palette that shimmers with pearl and glitter, as if the rifle’s surface is coated in magical dust. The centerpiece is a mysterious girl with closed eyes, seemingly lost in a ritual or prophetic dream.
The suppressor and stock are adorned with soft clouds and stars, like a fragment of the night sky, while the transparent grip elements add the feeling of a glass artifact hiding magic within. All of this transforms the M4A1-S from a mere skin into a small fairy tale – with nods to family stories of witchcraft and that thin line between reality and the mystical.
Desert Eagle | Flame Hella
- by kioShimyo 👾
This Desert Eagle looks like it burst from a neon myth about the underworld. An explosion of vivid pink, teal, and purple turns the massive pistol into a true work of dark fantasy, where every line seems to pulse with mystical energy. At the center of the composition is Hela, ruler of Helheim: her cold gaze, sharp features, and commanding pose convey a sense of power and absolute authority over her grim kingdom.
Along the slide, a raven silhouette streaks forward – an ancient symbol of connection to the otherworld and a guide between life and death. With its glowing outlines and bold palette, the skin looks as though its surface is filled with sorcerous flame. That contrast is where the design’s core idea lies: the enigmatic feminine magic that both attracts and slightly unsettles.
AK-47 | RUSH Vice
- by 🔥Pet3d🔥 ( Please pick us )
The main body of the gun features a female agent inspired by Safecracker Voltzmann – a bold safe-cracking specialist known for her confidence and adventurous spirit. Her gaze and dynamic pose set the entire skin’s tone: fast-paced action, as if the heist has already begun.
Surrounding the character is a rich palette of pinks, purples, and cool blues, complemented by graphic lines, pixel elements, and stylized symbols. These details create a sense of motion and speed, as if the design itself conveys the adrenaline of a chase or a high-stakes operation. Particularly striking is the color transition from the vibrant body to the cooler stock, making the whole composition feel cohesive and very much alive.
AWP | Synthetic 143
- by kadzor
This AWP reads like an illustration for a quiet, slightly dreamy story about a love that has yet to happen. The central element is a girl leaning in for a kiss with an almost-invisible partner — a ghostly spirit, a memory, or perhaps the image of a future lover she’s only imagined in her dreams. The scene feels deeply touching and slightly mysterious, like a frame from a romantic anime where emotions exist somewhere on the border between reality and fantasy.
Surrounding this scene is a delicate palette of pinks, blues, and silvers. Blossoming branches and petals add lightness to the composition, while soft graphic lines flow smoothly across the rifle’s body. Synthetic 143 is a rare skin where the focus isn’t on appearance, but on emotion. It tells a small, almost poetic story about dreams, anticipation, and the magic of feeling that makes the world a little more beautiful.
MP7 | Manga
- by Maloo
Instead of conventional artwork, this skin unfolds an entire comic-book story: large expressive eyes, fragments of dialogue, dynamic lines, and panels that look torn from a tense scene. The black-and-white style evokes classic printed pages, as if the artist just sketched them in pencil and ink. Certain parts of the weapon are covered in a pearlescent purple effect that shimmers softly in the light, adding depth to the design. Thanks to this contrast, strict graphic manga meets modern glossy shine, making the skin even more eye-catching.
AWP | Gridrunner
- by Horameow 😻
This skin tells the story of a girl who entered the game searching for secrets but got stuck between reality and the virtual abyss. She is the centerpiece of the composition – wearing neon glasses that read GAME, which flip to OVER when rotated. That’s one of the skin’s signature tricks, but the rest of the design is absolutely worth your attention too. Her face is calm, even as digital chaos erupts around her: tentacles of wires, bursts of energy, and sinister creatures seemingly born from corrupted code. On the stock lurks a demonic figure – a symbol of the cyber-psycho hunting her through the depths of the Net.
AWP | Gridrunner turns the rifle into a full-blown digital legend – vivid, aggressive, and slightly unhinged, just like the world it came from.
UMP-45 | X-Gaze
- by Shieno 💢
UMP-45 | X-Gaze feels like dark graffiti on the concrete wall of a nighttime metropolis. The design centers on a woman’s face, crudely smeared with a broad white streak of paint – as if someone tried to erase her gaze, silence her, and remove her from the story entirely. But the attempt failed. Her features still show through the brushstrokes, and around them – chaotic marks, symbols, and sharp pink accents reminiscent of street artist tags.
X-Gaze reads like a silent story about a suppressed voice, and the idea that even a painted-over gaze never stops watching.
AWP | Ryoko V2
- by Horameow 😻
AWP | Ryoko V2 looks like a work of art where the cold precision of a sniper rifle meets graceful Eastern aesthetics. The centerpiece is a girl with a calm yet assured gaze – her face emerging from a flow of decorative lines and ornaments reminiscent of traditional Japanese woodblock prints.
Along the rifle’s body, a stylized crane spreads its wings – a symbol of strength, nobility, and longevity. Its feathers gradually transition into intricate patterns that run along the stock and barrel, as if the wind is carrying the composition forward. The palette is composed of soft silver-blues and cool lavender tones, giving the skin a look that is simultaneously elegant and dangerous.
M4A4 | Sea Breeze
- by VHS_ToNight 🎴
Sea Breeze looks like a postcard from a vacation, where every detail is a memory of sunshine, salty wind, and the lightness of summer days – and of that dream of escaping to the sea, taking dozens of beautiful romantic photos, and sharing them online. The rifle’s body features a girl with hair flowing in the ocean breeze: eyes closed, face tilted toward the sun, savoring one of those rare, carefree moments.
The design is drenched in a coastal resort atmosphere. Blue tones evoke a clear sky and sea; warm peach and sandy hues bring to mind a hot beach and sunsets by the water. Small details and inscriptions are scattered across the weapon like travel stickers: Ocean View, Sunlight, Authentic Italian Ristorante – and on the stock, a bright sign reads Banana Hostel, like a souvenir from a fun summer adventure.
Nova | Medusa
- by Blazer
Nova | Medusa draws the eye just as inevitably as the mythical gaze of Medusa herself. The shotgun’s body is painted in rich purple and lilac tones. Greek ornaments run across the metal, and around Medusa’s face, writhing snakes intertwine as if coming to life on the weapon’s surface. Their bodies form a complex pattern that makes the design simultaneously terrifying and mesmerizing.
This skin is built entirely on contrast – soft hues and refined patterns collide with the mythical menace hidden in the very image of Medusa. And the longer you look at Nova | Medusa, the harder it becomes to look away – almost like the gaze of the woman you love.
