10 Amazing Steam Workshop Skins Awaiting Their Turn in CS2

To not miss any interesting new releases, we traditionally look into the Steam Workshop, where talented artists from around the world create skins capable of breathing new life into CS2. We’ve selected 10 of the most vibrant and memorable skins that are still waiting their turn in the workshop but are already ready to win players’ hearts. In this article, we’ll reveal their visual magic, inspired by the authors’ notes and our own associations.

P2000 | Sunflowers

P2000 | Sunflowers

P2000 | Sunflowers looks like a Van Gogh painting transferred onto the cold metal of a counter-terrorist pistol. The design, executed in an artistic style, comes alive thanks to an asymmetrical pattern: on the front side of the barrel, sunflowers stand upright, while on the outer side you can see a rear view, as if you’ve walked around the weapon and are looking at the same sunflowers from behind. When viewed from first person, it feels like you’re holding not just a weapon, but a piece of a sunny field. Fine details, such as barely noticeable ladybugs climbing on petals, add liveliness and charm to the skin. This isn’t just a skin, but a work of art that brings rare warmth and natural elegance to CS2.

FAMAS | Chronicle

FAMAS | Chronicle

FAMAS | Chronicle is dedicated to the new era of Counter-Strike 2, captured in a dynamic design that will have thousands of different variations. The weapon’s body has transformed into a printed newspaper, where headlines and images flash by, telling about upcoming game updates and events. Bright byte fonts and news fragments cover the barrel, creating the feeling that you’re holding a CS2 chronicle in your hands. The dynamic pattern makes each copy unique: somewhere a headline about a new patch will flash, and elsewhere – a hint about a secret event. Chronicle could become another collectible artifact that will make many players pay attention to it.

Desert Eagle | Vice

Desert Eagle | Vice

This Desert Eagle skin, inspired by the cult agent Sir Bloody Miami Darryl, literally screams about the retro chic of 1980s Miami. Bright pink, turquoise, and soft blue shades shimmer on the body, creating an effect as if they ripped the suit off the agent and made a cover for this pistol from it. On the slide, Darryl’s stern gaze is engraved, as if he’s ready to enter a shootout with an opponent at any moment. Inscriptions and textures reminiscent of old VHS cassettes give the atmosphere of crime series from that era. Holding Vice in your hands is like turning on the “Miami Vice” soundtrack and appearing near Ocean Beach when loading onto a server.

USP-S | Hollow Night

USP-S | Hollow Night

USP-S | Hollow Night is the embodiment of Halloween magic, where a dark atmosphere organically merges with innocent pink shades. The pistol’s body is shrouded in horror elements, as if you’re walking through a cemetery only under the dim light of lanterns. The texture, reminiscent of cobwebs or cracks in old asphalt, creates a frightening but mesmerizing atmosphere. On the grip, you can make out Halloween motifs in the form of pumpkins and barely perceptible silhouettes of bats. The color palette makes this skin ideal for appearing in the game with a themed update on All Hallows’ Eve.

Sawed-Off | Cache Core

Sawed-Off | Cache Core

Sawed-Off | Cache Core isn’t just a skin, but a tribute to one of the community’s most beloved maps, which would be perfect for those who know every corner of Cache by heart. The design is inspired by Soviet elements that cover the walls of this iconic location. The inscription “Don’t Go Vent” refers to a spot on the map from which there’s no escape if you’re met there with a shotgun. The body itself seems to be made from the same metal as rusty ventilation shafts, with bright accents in the form of inscriptions and signs warning of danger. VALVE, bring Cache back to the workers! We know you’re already working on it!

M4A1-S | Sentinel Stinger

M4A1-S | Sentinel Stinger

Very recently we did material on the combination of skins and team stickers, where we repeatedly emphasized that some designs are very similar to the identity of famous esports organizations. M4A1-S | Sentinel Stinger is a skin that was literally created for Vitality fans. The bright yellow background reminiscent of a hive, and black accents with the image of a Warrior Bee instantly evoke associations with the team’s recognizable logo. Details such as hexagonal patterns resemble honeycomb, and the color contrast is identical to the current jersey of the reigning Major champions. We’re sure such items would become a real gift for esports fans who want to express support for their favorite club.

AWP | Masamune

AWP | Masamune

There isn’t that much Japanese theming in the game, but it enjoys certain demand. We really like how this skin paid attention to various body details and organically played with them. The long barrel shines in the sun like the legendary Masamune sword, and thin highlights emphasize its sharpness and elegance. On the grip, a demon’s face is engraved, whose blazing eyes are positioned exactly in the rifle’s default holes, creating an eerie but mesmerizing effect. Japanese aesthetics permeate every detail: from the restrained color palette with deep black and red tones to delicate patterns reminiscent of traditional engravings.

Glock-18 | Rebel

Glock-18 | Rebel

Glock-18 | Rebel is the embodiment of street freedom and rebellious spirit. The black body of the pistol is covered with bold graffiti that seems to be drawn hastily under cover of night. But the real magic begins in the dark: inscriptions and patterns glow with ghostly neon light, standing out on dark areas of maps. This effect makes Rebel not just a skin, but practically a new type of weapon. A very relevant solution, considering that VALVE has already released the first night version of a map, and there are more than enough hints about continuing this trend. Such ideas must appear more and more often in the Steam Workshop, and then in players’ inventories.

Charm | TV-head

Charm | TV-head

Everyone has already started to forget about charms and nothing new has appeared in the workshop for a long time, but we stumbled upon a curious animated version. Inspired by broken televisions scattered across maps, this animated charm looks like a miniature screen with interference. TV-head would be perfect for those who want to add something unusual, memorable, and smile-inducing to their arsenal for everyone who notices this little masterpiece.

P2000 | Synthesizer

P2000 | Synthesizer

P2000 | Synthesizer is like if a cult 80s synthesizer was turned into a weapon. The pistol’s body is covered with glossy plastic and metal inserts, adorned with buttons, an equalizer, and a tiny sampler screen. The design plays with technological aesthetics: audio and USB ports, switches, and even rubber buttons look as if you’re holding a real musical instrument in your hands. But the main feature is the dynamic float: as the skin wears, musical staff lines appear on the body, revealing its mysterious melody. Many beginners learn to memorize notes and various compositions this way. If you’re a professional – get the cleanest version, while beginners should acquire Battle-Scarred.
