Valve regularly gives the community a chance to shine, and very soon we’re expecting a major update to The Armory Pass featuring new skin and sticker collections. Alongside prize pools for weapon skins ($35,000) and stickers ($6,000) on specific themes, the developers also mentioned a $6,000 cash reward for a charm design. Based on past experience with new charms being added to the game, it seems the next community collection should be Dr Boom. Since no specific theme was set, designers have full creative freedom.

The Dr Boom series has proven that the CS2 community is capable of creating genuinely diverse and high-quality content — nostalgia, memes, cuteness, and bold animated concepts, something for every taste. Some charms (especially the animated ones and those with pattern support) look so polished that you genuinely want to see them in the official game. The only question is whether Valve will approve at least some of these works — and when exactly they’ll land in players’ inventories.
